I found this site through another author friend of mine where you can upload samples of your book (account sign up is free) and place a widget on your website. I am working on putting up samples of my book. Another nice marketing tool:

Note that anyone who is considering traditional publishing should be cautious about posting excerpts on the internet as some publishers won't touch a book that has been posted as such.

Hi, I use this marketing tool fairly extensively. It is fantastically useful for published authors. There is even a little email signature version that displays a tiny flippy book to encourage visitors to come and read a free sample.

As my books are poetry - it is especially important for me to be able to show samples of my work. So many people think they don't like poetry and it is wonderful to be able to show them that maybe after all - they do

If anyone wants to see how this resource can be exploited - my profile web link goes to my fReado page. I have blogs and websites - but the fReado page is remarkably good as I can collate all my published books (3 so far) in one spot and link to my online sales pages on Amazon and elsewhere from the central spot.

The sample widget can be displayed on forums, blog headers and posts - just about anywhere it might be of interest to readers.

I think it is pretty obvious that I am a fan
